A pangolin has been rescued from a well.
One Indian pangolin (Manis crassicaudata) is thanking his lucky stars, after forest rangers rescued him from the bottom of a well in Gujarat.
The scaly anteater underwent a brief observation period to monitor the status of his health, before being returned the wild where he belonged.
Here’s hoping the little cutie doesn’t decide to go for another high dive in the future!
